Cost price of 6 books is equal to the SP of 4 books. Also the Discount price of 4 books is equal to the Profit price of 2 books. Find the percentage point difference b/w the Profit percentage and Discount percentage?​

Let’s say for each book C is the cost price , S is the selling price and D is the discount and P is the profit . So 6C=4S (given) So: S=3/2C , so the profit ‘P’ on each book is …. 3/2C-C=1/2C .Now the discount on 4 books =4D, which is equal to the profit on 2 books , or 4D=2P(given) or 4D=C (P=1/2C) , or D=1/4 C .

Since P=1/2C , profit is 50% of the cost price, and since D=1/4C, discount is 25% of C//
