Selling Price (SP) = 41x
Marked Price (MP) = 50x
Profit earned (P) = SP - CP = 41x - Rs 100
Discount given (D) = P + Rs 4
or, MP - SP = 41x - Rs 100 + Rs 4
or, 50x - 41x = 41x - Rs 96
or, 50x = Rs 96
or, x = Rs 1.92
Discount = MP - SP
= 50x - 41x
= 9x
= 9*Rs 1.92
= Rs 17.28
