Heya!!

Here is your solution:-
___________________________________

Given,
 \cot \theta + \csc \theta = 5 \\ = > \frac{ \cos \theta}{sin \: \theta} + \frac{1}{sin \: \theta} = 5 \\ = > \frac{cos \theta + 1}{ \sin \theta } = 5 \\ = > \cos \theta = 5 \sin \theta - 1
Hope it helps you.

guptaaarav44: I know the answer take cos =x and sin=√1-x^2 and solve the equation by squaring both sides .The answer will be 12/13

Answer:

12/13

Step-by-step explanation:

∅=theta

Cot∅+Cos ec∅=3/2.............(i)

Multiply both sides by Cos ec∅-Cot∅

Then,

Cos ec²∅-Cot²∅=3/2(Cos ec∅-Cot∅)

Since

Cos ec²∅-Cot²∅=1

Hence,

Cos ec∅-Cot∅=2/3.............(ii)

Add (i)+(ii)

2 Cos  ec∅=3/2+2/3= 13/6

Cos ec∅=13/12

Sin∅=12/13
