Cotton is a crop which is grown on tropical and sub-tropical areas.

The temperature requirement for the crop varies between 21 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius.

As the crop is grown on fertile land of Ganga Delta region, so heavy machinery cannot be used in this crop.

All the things in this farming are done in the hands, so it is a labor-intensive crop.
