An arithmetic progression is a type of sequence in which a constant quantity is added/subtracted to the successive terms.

Hence, the difference of two consecutive terms will remain constant.

Example:

2, 2+1, 2+1+1, 2+1+1+1, .... 2 + (n-1)×1
