Answer:
In Delhi in 1639 on the bank of river yamuna began to take shape as a proper city under Shah jahan. known as shahjhanabad, the city consisted of a fort palace complex and a residential area. To west lay the walled city with 14 gates for entry into the city. The red fort or lal aquila made of red sandstone, housed the palace complex built in an Islamic style with Persian influence. so, by this we understand that shahjhanabad is first planned city of mughal.
