Note that

Angle EDF is 60° ( Equilateral triangle )

Angle ADC is 90° ( Square )

So Angle ADE will be 180 - (60 + 90) = 30°

[ Angle of straight line is 180 ° ]

Now in isosceles ADE

Angle ADE = Angle AED = 30°

Again in equilateral angle FED = 60°

Finally

Angle AEF = AED + FED = 30 + 60 = 90°
