There is a growing debate surrounding cyberbullying
and it's only getting increasingly heated. It has grown in severity over the years with young people taking their lives due to being bullied offline and online. One of the newer debates related to this issue is if cyberbullying should be considered a criminal offense or not. Cyberbullying is a worldwide problem and it hasn't been getting the attention it needs. There are a few states that have already officially considered cyberbullying to be punishable by law: New York, Missouri, Rhode Island, Maryland, and California. What a lot of people have trouble with is defining what exactly cyberbullying is.
