Could there be impurities in a gas? Explain.

Yes ,my dear friend all the gas contains impurities. It mainly depends on their degree of purity and how you obtained the gas. IF it is by evaporation of pure liquid the number is no. But by industrial method , it is possible that you have impurities...Keep in mind though that purity is a relative term. If the gas is "pure enough" for your application, then a certain level of impurities is acceptable.Organic gases like acetylene, ethylene, ethane, propane, butane will often contain other similar organic compounds as impurities.... Yes a gas may have impurities in it. Dust particles or other substances may get mixed with the gas. The commonest example would be - air.

Air is a mixture of many gases, and contains several impurities like dust,smoke etc.
