Walking alone could get quite boring.

If you choose to not engage with the environment then walking alone can be quite boring because one can not communicate with anybody and cannot share their activities. Many times even the smaller distances appear to be boring because one cannot share their thoughts with others.

Answer:

Walking alone could get quite boring: Walking is the verb in the continuous tense and alone signifies the state of the subject.

The statement is written in the general past form and hence can has become could.

As past tense cannot be used after the past form of 'be' verb, get is used and not got. Quite boring is the object of the statement.
