The most important advantage of volunteer work is gaining experience. Any skills will come in handy in life, from simple domestic to professional ones. New acquaintances, connections, which in the future can be useful to you. A lot of new knowledge, you are constantly improving and learning new things.

Every volunteer gets a chance to assess their abilities. Participating in various events and promotions, you can determine what is close to you, most like it. Each person is individual, someone likes to help in carrying out activities and in the future it becomes a good organizer. Many volunteers like working with children, spending festive and entertaining activities for them.

In addition to the clear advantages, there are also disadvantages.
Fear not to get what you expect
There is the likelihood that the work of the volunteer will not justify the hopes that were placed on it. Sometimes it depends on the volunteer, who incorrectly set himself the tasks and goals in acquiring the desired work in the specialty. In my opinion volunteering this is an excellent chance for young people to expand their knowledge in many areas that volunteer activity, but it's your choice. No one forced you to go somewhere and work there, wasting your time.
