The effect of sunlight on the growth of plants is truth. Sunlight play an important role in the process of photosynthesis by which plants make their food.Without the present of sunlight the process of photosynthesis is not possible and plants can not make their food which is essiential for their growth.

Photosynthesis- The process by which green plants make their food in presence of water, carbon dioxide and sunlight is called photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis is made my two words , photo mean 'light ' and synthesis mean ' to make'.
