Here the terms in A.P. where a = 1, d = 1 and n = 100

As we know that from the formula of Sum :

 S_{n} =  \frac{n}{2} [2a + (n - 1)d] \\  \\  =  > S_{n} =  \frac{100}{2} [2 \times 1 + (100 - 1)1] \\  \\  =  > S_{n} = 50(2 + 99) \\  \\  =  > S_{n} = 50 \times 101 = 5,050

So, the sum of numbers 1 to 100 will be 5,050 ✔✔
