15th Aug , 16th Aug , ..., 31st Aug    

Days = 31 - 14  = 17 Days   as first 14 days are missing and 31 days in August

1st sep , ... , 17th sep , 18th sep

Days = 18

Hence  days between 15th August and 18th September including both are:

=   17 + 18

= 35

35   days between 15th August and 18th September including both
