Homework is good to a certain extent. But nothing is good in excess.

Homework doesn't guarantee the all round development of a child.

It acts as a burden to most children.

A student inculcates values like team spirit , wholeness etc only when he interacts with a group which is possible only in a classroom.

Classwork is highly interactive and provides more freedom to practise and learn practical skills.

Hence, homework shouldn't be retained as a key part of education and classwork should be encouraged.
