Counting line segment:

Line segment:

In geometry, a line segment is a part of a line that is restricted by two separate end points, and contains every point on the line concerning its endpoints. A closed line segment comprises both endpoints, while an open line segment ignores both endpoints; a half-open line segment includes precisely one of the endpoints.

Counting:

We can find the length of a line segment by including the units that the line segment shields. Counting the units on a graph is like counting the number of blocks gone between your house and your friend's house. To measure the length of line segment, we have to count the number of units between the two end points from beginning to end.

Hope it helped...............!
