It is the parliament of Afghanistan. Normally people call it as Afghan Parliament or Parliament of Afghanistan.
The word 'shora' is used for Parliament only.
In Afghan parliament, there are two houses, just like India, one is the upper house and the other is the lower house.
The Upper House is known as Meshrano Jigra. It is also called as the House of elders.
The Lower house is known as Wolesi Jigra. It is also called as House of the people.
The Upper House has 102 seats, whereas the Lower House has in total 250 seats.
Divided in two Houses, it is easy to make out that it is a Bicameral body.
