Answer:

"Courage is the driving force to do any work successfully"

Explanation:

A man suffering from huge debts decided to end his life as he concluded that the debt is not manageable and he was unable to take care of his family, but kept on postponing his decision to do so. He stood at the seashore for a long time looking at the waves but was unable to step into the waters. Something was stopping him. Finally he gathered all possible courage and decided to move forward. Suddenly, someone touched his shoulder. It was a well-dressed elderly man who was humble enough to enquire about this man’s condition. According to this wise man, he doesn’t see any reason for the other person to die as he was very young and healthy. After a short conversation, he went up to his chariot and brought two bags; one filled with money and the other with gold. He handed them over to the young man and asked him to try and work on something hard taking all risks in life. He advised him not to worry about failures saying that even if it’s a failure, work hard and move forward as he has these bags of wealth with him. The elderly man asked the other person to meet him after one year and return the money and gold in case he succeeded in his ventures. He left the place promising to meet him exactly after one year at this same place. The young man reached home and was happy to see his family. He decided to work hard and earn money. With no time, his wealth grew and there was something that was pushing him to work hard and achieve success step by step. There was a confidence that was guiding him throughout the process. The day arrived when he had promised to meet the wise man. But he had to wait a long time before a young boy came to him. The young boy introduced himself as the grandson of the rich man. He also told the other person to believe him and hand over the bags as per his grandfather’s instructions. He handed it over to the boy. As they open those bags for the first time, to his surprise, the bags did not contain gold and money as he believed these many days. One bag contained seeds and the other contained empty sheets of paper. He then realised that its not money or gold that helped him achieve success, but it was his confidence that backed him every time he failed.

Answer:

This lesson "HiS FIRST FLIGHT " always appeared me a source of encouragement. Here ,we feel that an intellectual mother is a great teacher.

Explanation:

Little seagull was afraid of flying and was left alone on the ledge ,with nothing to eat.His siblings have left the place a day ago with parents. He was looking for food, and found some scraps of bones .He was unable to join his family .He saw that his brother and sister had their second and third flights, they were also enjoying fresh fish in lunch. They were soaring high up the sky and diving back to the sea ,to catch their prey.

He was unable to gather his courage. He walked on the ledge ,watching his mother .She was drying her feathers in sun.

At once, he saw that his mother was flying towards him with a piece of fish in her beak .He came near to the edge of ledge ,mother came nearer and nearer to the young seagull.

Young seagull opened his beak to take food from his mother's beak and then suddenly, mother seagull dropped piece of fish into air .Famished was young seagull ,jumped into air ,without realizing .He felt ,that his feathers were filled with air and he started flapping his wings .

There was a cry of joy on the other ledge. His family was cheering his maiden flight and so was young seagull.

If we are deprived of courage ,we lose true essence of life.
