Covalent bonds are generally weak bonds but carbon forms strong covalent bonds with

other elements. Explain, why?​

Explanation:

Because carbon possesses the property of forming tetrahedral bonds(4 bonds). it has 4 electrons in the valence shell and completes its octet by gaining or losing 4 electrons. Once the octet is complete, the bonds become strong.
