ANSWER

Covalent compounds are formed by the sharing of electron and they are not favourable to form ionic products or ions on dissociation(non-polar).

Hence the covalent compounds are poor conductors of electricity as they do not have free electrons or ions.

Answer:

This i because -

Explanation:

Graphite has free electron and its structure is in layers of atoms over one another. It gives a free atomic state to atoms for conducting electricity. And it has free electron that it can transfer it. Hope it helps.
