Polar form of a complex number is given by,

r(cosθ+isinθ)

So, 1−i=r(cosθ+isinθ)

Comparing, real and unreal part,

rcosθ=1andrsinθ=−1

Squaring and adding both expression,

r2cos2θ+r2sin2θ=1+1

r2(cos2θ+sin2θ)=2

r=2–√

So, sinθ=−12–√andcosθ=12–√

So, polar form will be 2–
