CP = ₹50 ; SP = ₹ 42. find gain or loss .. plzz ans 16 % loss

Here we know that

CP > SP

LOSS= CP-SP= 50-42 = 8

PERCENTAGE OF LOSS =( LOSS×100)/CP

= (8×100)/50

= 800/50= 16%

= Loss = 50-42

= Loss = ₹ 8

Now, loss% = loss×100/CP
= 8×100/50
= 8×2
=16

So, the loss is 16%
