Given :  CP & CQ are tangent from  an external point c to a circle  with center O.

AB is another tangent which touches the circle at R and intersects PC  & QC at A and B respectively

CP = 11 cm

BR = 4 cm

To Find : Length of BC

Solution:

BC = CQ  - BQ

CQ = CP  Equal tangent

CP = 11 cm

=> CQ = 11 cm

BQ = BR  Equal tangent

BR = 4 cm

=> BQ = 4 cm

BC = CQ  - BQ

=> BC = 11 - 4

=> BC = 7 cm

length of BC  is 7 cm
