Dear Dairy,
I had an amazing day today . My parents and I visited lots of places in and around Agra and Delhi: We woke up at 5 in the morning to take a train to Agra. We visited the Taj Mahal. It is indeed a dream made in marble! There was a huge crowd and peoples stood in long queues to tour this magnificent mausoleum. I wonder what it must have looked like when it was newly made. We took a bus back to Delhi because there was a lot of times left on our hands. We reached Delhi by 2 pm and straight away went to visit Humayun's tomb .It was very peaceful. There not many peoples thronging the space. There was an unusual calmness about the place; maybe the wide open spaces with less peoples made me feel so.
We went to connaught place for dinner and shopping. Mom and dad were so confused about what souvenirs to take back home for our family and friends. It was fun watching them take their pick! I shopped for myself as well. We came back to hotel about after half an hour back. It was such an eventful day, don't you think? I have to sleep now .Will talk with you later.
