"The Letter"
yesterday I decided to clean our attic !!OK I know it's nothing fun and stuff but I was really bored and thought I'd go and search for something interesting in the attic, the place where all of my grandma's belongings were now kept after she passed away.Honestly I really missed her and being near her belongings made me feel like she was still there with me. So I started with all the cleaning and arranging grandma's stuffs when in one corner of the room that I don't usually clean and there I found a suitcase!!
It was old and worn out and in there I found a letter. it was brown and dusty and the words written were almost unreadable. now not to forget to mention I were GLASSES (which I had forgotten at my room) and things were extremely blurry. but I wanted to read the letter it had caught my interest!!
so I ran down the wooden stairs and went in my room. In there were my Lil bro and his four friends (who's name I had forgotten) watching "The Ghost " in the T. V. so I ran to my study table took my glasses and ignoring whatever my bro was saying I ran back to the attic. I settled myself and read the letter.
"Dear josh,
hope u have not forgotten me, do I still remain ur beloved ella? or have ur parents succeeded in finding for u a better match ... "it read. I was excited now for I knew this letter wasn't for my grandpa and rather for a stranger.
I continued reading.... my grandma's name was Ella,she lived In a farmhouse In Canada with my great grandparents ,before they moved in to Amsterdam . one day grandma was palying along with the other kids. They were playing a game in a jungle but she lost track of time and was in the the jungle until it started becoming dark and cold. as she was in her way back home she saw a boy crying under a tree .she approached him and he looked really terrified. she comforted him and said that she would him return home.he said that he had come with his parents who were merchants, to a journey to the eastern home but was left behind as bandits attacked their carriage.
since the night sky fallen and was very dark she tiok him to a house that she often went to in the mid of a jungle.
the next morning she took him to her house and as hmjksh introduced himself and his family to then they seemed awkward. but they said that they were quite familiar with his family and that they would help him get in touch with his family
.
days passed and my grandma and Josh spend time together. they eventually opened up to each other and eventually yet unknowingly fell in love.
after 4 months my grandma's parents decided that Josh return to his family who's wereabouts were now known. even Ella went along with her parents to take josh back to his family.
but to Ella's and Josh's surprise when his family met her parents they went mad they refused to thank them and yelled "how dare you as an enemy touch our child?? " ....
the pages after this were torn and I was i disappointed as I knew that sine my grandma met my granddad her story with josh was still a mystery...
moral:in my opinion not ever story can have a perfect end.
