There 150 number of trees in a garden.If the number of trees in Rows is 5 less then number of trees in column.Then how many tress are there in column.

Let the number of trres in column be x and rows be x-5

x(x-5)=150

x2-5x=150

x2-5x-150=0

x2-15x+10x-150=0

x(x-15)+10(x-15)=0

(x+10)(x-15)=0

x+10=0 or x-15=0

x=-10 or x=15
