The story a young Girl

Once, there lived a girl named Tapti, in a large slum of a remote village in Haryana. As usual, when the little girl was born, there was a hue and cry, and everyone used to ignore her, just because she was a girl child. But her parents were not so. They wanted her to grow up like anyone else. Tapti had to do the domestic chores along with her mother, and after 6 years of her birth, her parents thought of shifting from that slum to other city, because child marriage was a common ritual there, which they never wanted to happen. Tapti had a melodious voice, and she wanted to be a singer.

Thus the years passed. Tapti was now 17 years old, studying in government school. One day, she saw an audition card from the school for a singing reality show. She immediately went to her parents, who were not so well off, but they allowed her to participate. The participants were rich, and they saw Tapti and said, " How shabby she looks!" But Tapti didn't seemed to mind. Then during the training, child named Rai, who was from a rich household, began to support Tapti for her daily needs. At the end of the reality show, there's always a grand final show. Till then, Tapti and Rai were the shining stars of the show. When they together won the jubilee first prize, the others who continuously teased Tapti for her dark complexion were deeply ashamed of their behaviour. They had to apologise to Tapti at the backstage.
