Today has been a wonderful day for me. I went to school as usual and found there was a crowd near the back entrance. The crowd was mostly senior jocks in school and I was wondering what they were upto. Then I saw Ishan crying in the middle of them as they were mocking him about his disabilities. He is an insecure person and I could see him accepting all the mean things they said to him.I reported them for bullying Ishan and strict action was taken against them. Still Ishan was in despair and I tried my best to console him. Then I asked to sit with me and my friends during lunch and he was pleasantly surprised. All my friends welcomed him and he was overcome with emotions. He asked as if we would be his friends for real to which we all replied positively. His face lightened up instantly and he gave as a teary eyed smile. I feel elated today.I gained a new friend. My parents were also happy when I told them and asked to bring him over tomorrow. I can't wait for tomorrow.

We are required to create our dairy entry in which I should write about how I helped my mother in helping physically disabled persons and underprivileged people. The diary entry is as under:
Dear Diary,
Today is a special day in my life. Today my class was taken to an Orphanage and I interacted with so many children, who are very underprivileged.
The visit was an eye-opener as to how grateful we should be to God.
At the end of the visit we were asked to donate anything which may be of use to these children and I did not hesitate to promise to give all the money I received on my birthday to the Orphanage.
I am so excited and happy that I had such a wonderful experience today.
