dark and grey grew the clouds,

refreshing the air of memories;

winds grew stronger ;

firming my belief

wen once I sat by the window pane.

while I closed my eyes in remembrance of someone,

I felt some drops of rain,

relaxing my wrinkled face to bring out a smile out of ugly dress .

the fragrance of wet soil ,

soothens my soul ;

the way someone did way back ,

which is captured in my heart

the music it makes with the trees and leaves ;

oh! how I wish to be a part of it,

smoothening the thread between the memories;

dear rain how I wish to be a part of Thee
