Explanation:
Creating a document :
- Click the Microsoft Office button.
- Select New. The New Document dialog box appears.
- Select Blank document under the Blank and recent section. It will be highlighted by default.
- Click Create. A new blank document appears in the Word window.
Saving a document :
- On the File menu, select Save As
- The Save As dialog box will display.
- Choose a location on your computer to save your file. You may want to create a folder to store all your class assignments.
- Next to File Type is a drop down menu; select Rich Text Format (.rtf) or Microsoft Word (*.doc).
- Click Save. A copy of your document has been saved as Rich Text Format or Microsoft Word format.
Deleting a document :
- Open a File Explorer window.
- Locate the file that you want to delete.
- Select the file and press your Delete key, or click Delete on the Home tab of the ribbon.
