Step-by-step explanation:

A world without numbers is a hard thing to imagine! It would be back to the basics for us as a species. We would have to depend on sheer luck and physical experience. Considering that the first numbers were used in the form of tallies about 40,000 years ago, we have a very limited idea of what the world might look like. Twenty things that are different:

No electronics, no electricity. Forget about computers.

No time. The only time you might encounter would be simply day/night or cold season, dry season, wet season, hot season. Possibly you might encounter people who do things based on the way the moon looks.

No measurements. Everything needs to be physically pointed out. If you want to build a house you couldn’t say to the rock cutting guy, “I need 20 rocks the size of 5′x5′” Instead, you need to bring the rock cutting guy to your home site and show him the space, or bring him some big pieces of wood the same length and height as the rocks you need.

No money. Yes, all physical barter and trade. No banks.

Very limited abstract thought. Obviously no math. No geometry. People are content to live without thinking of ways to improve their work and communication.

Very limited alphabets for writing. Not much abstract thinking means that the people are not ready to think about expanding their lines of communication to the world at large, including passing on accurate information to their descendants. Communication all needs to be word of mouth or drawings.

Very limited concept of listing things. You might get a few bullets points, if you are lucky.

No exact science. It’s kind of hard to carry out the scientific method when you have no math, and little in the way of writing besides drawing things. Everything needs to be “eye-balled” or approximated.

Very limited medicine. Obviously, no math and no exact science means no advanced medicine. This also means no “germ theory” or hygenics. If you get sick you need to rely on your village herbal healer…or the religious guy dowsing you with holy water, smoking you out with insence, waving sticks at you, and chanting prayers. Your choice, but the village might mark you as an outcast if you refuse the religious guy! This leads to the next point:

Religion is highly regarded. No exact sciences and not much higher thinking leads to the majority of the population being willing sheep; thus they are ready to follow superstitions of any kind, wether they be based in truth or completely false.

Business is small and slow. Working with the hands, communicating with only drawings and the mouth, thinking small and immediate. Businesses do not grow well under these conditions. Yields are too small to expand business.

Tools and structures are very basic. Without numbers and measurements, making precise tools is very difficult. No precise tools means very little advanced technology, design, and very basic art. Since measurements and angles there can be no sophisticated structures. Imagine huts, long houses, tipis, tents, and possibly mud/clay houses in arid climates if the trial-and-error approach has been perfected over a long period of time.

Tradesmen rule society. Since the people rely on trial-and-error to perfect their skills, many people choose to .
