Narrating an incident
e some incidents in our life that linger in our minds for years to come. Such incidents
our mind because they are either pleasant or too unpleasant to forget. While we we r e such
w oents that have happened we use the past tense. Such narrations comprise of the tacts as they
occurred and our reactions to such incidents.
Write a paragraph narrating an incident where someone manipulated you into doing somethee
which was not in your favour. Write this in your notebook.

Narratives are spoken or written piece of information to convey a story or an incident to the
audience. Novels, short stories, poems, etc., are some written forms of narrations. Narration
is the process of recounting a sequence of events, real or imagined. The person who narrates
is called the narrator and the written account is called narrative. Narrative poems, essays, and
novels can be of any length, what makes them 'narrative is their ability to tell a story
A few popular types of narratives are:
- Autobiography - a detailed description or story of the storyteller's own lite
