Acceleration (due to gravity) = 10m/s²
Height (s) = 20 m
We first apply 3rd equation of motion :
v² = u² + 2as
v² = 0² + 2(10)(20)
=> v² = 400
=> v = √400
=> v = 20 m/s
To find time we apply 1st equation of motion:
v = u + at
20 = 0 + 10(t)
20. = 10t
t = 2 sec.
