Hey MATE!

From the above question we know that :

Initial velocity (u) = 0m/s

Acceleration (due to gravity) = 10m/s²

Height (s) = 20 m

We first apply 3rd equation of motion :
v² = u² + 2as

v² = 0² + 2(10)(20)
=> v² = 400
=> v = √400
=> v = 20 m/s

To find time we apply 1st equation of motion:

v = u + at

20 = 0 + 10(t)

20. = 10t

t = 2 sec.

Hope it helps
