Answer:

Money and fame are directly proportional to the players success at the international level as far as I see. The more you succeed , the fame and money will shoot up. But how you take those in your life depends on your attitude towards money. And as I see in the Indian cricket team, most of them are from middle class hard working families and have sacrificed a lot to reach to the international level and keep playing for India. So they know the value of money but at the same time they don't chase it. They let their skills do the talking and the people chase them for endorsements.

An example where it showed that players don't go for money is the master Sachin Tendulkar. He was offered an extremely high amount of money to endorse a liquor brand but he politely declined the offer. Because he didn't want to send a wrong message that for the sake of money he would do anything and everything.

Not too long ago, virat Kohli has turned down an offer to endorse a soft drink brand because in his words “When I started my fitness turnaround, it was more of a lifestyle thing initially. If something goes away from that, I would not want to be a part of that or be promoting that

So, by these examples I can say Indian cricketers don't play for money and fame but for the country and the fans who admire them.
