The "Chinese Statue" was written by 'Jeffery Archer'. This story revolves around a 'Chinese statue' which was brought to 'London' by sir Alexander Heathcote. He was posted in "China" as  British Ambassador.

This story starts at auction house. The narrator was intrigued by the the history of the 'statue'. He is a lover towards art, he was happy to see the 'beautiful Chinese arts'.

The craftsman, after realizing his 'deep interest' towards Chinese art, showed him a 'porcelain Chinese statue' of Emperor "Kung".
