Explanation  :-


Critical angle for the pair of media depends upon wavelength of the light. As we know that it is inversely proportional to the refractive index. Hence if the refractive index will increase then the critical angle will decrease.

Now refractive index depends uoon the wavelength of the light used. Refractive index is highest for the violet and lowest for the Red. Thus the critical angle is highest for the red and lowest for theViolet.

Hence, option a. is correct.

Although critical angle is constant for the pair of media but it will change if the temperature will either increased or decreased. Hence option d cannot be correct.
