Answer

Θc =  48.8°

Explanation:

We are given that:

The angle of refraction is = 90°

Refractive index for water "n1" = 1.33

Refractive index for air "n2" = 1

To Find = Critical angle

By using Snells law

Sin Θc = n 2 / n1

Sin Θc  = 1 / 1.33

Θc = sin^-1 (1/1.33)

Θc = sin^-1 (0.75)

Θc =  48.8°
