Sarojini Naidu, in her poem The Bangle Sellerportrays women at different stages and various bangles they wear. The bangle sellers sell bangles of different colors and their colors signify women's maidenhood and womanhood. Sarojini Naidu tries to bring the fact that the life of a woman as a life of subjugation who sits 'by her husband's side' to perform rituals in her later stage, having lived a fruitful life as a mother and wife. The bangle sellers make the bangles of different colors, which,  on the one hand, adorn the woman and, on the other hand, they reflect their feelings and emotions. Sarojini Naidu uses striking imagery to highlight Indian tradition and to add to the beauty of the poem
