The short, simple patriotic poem entitled "Where The Mind Is Without Fear" written by Rabindranath Tagore. This poem is from his Nobel Prize winning anthology 'Gitanjali'. The title is significant as it involves God to let his country towards the freedom of mind and spirit. The tone is Serious.The first eight lines show the picture and the mood changes to hope in the last three lines. It is a prayer hope and a call to action for the country. The British rule had prevented many Indian from position and growth tagor apples to God to free India in political, educational, economical and social fields he wants his countrymen to live with dignity to be truthful, Industries, self confidence and not be trapped in the bad habits of rituals,customs and narrow domestic walls.In the end he asks God to awaken India from all vices and hopes for better future and total freedom.
