Answer:

This philosopher admitted that human race is one of the most evident hierarchies according to which people became unequal to each other: thinkers and scientists had to take the highest places and those, who believed they were able to perform services for other people, occupied the lowest stage. It proves that people divide themselves unconsciously into groups and develop all those inequalities independently.

Another problem that the author touches in the work is the idea of the elite and its role in society. As it was mentioned above, thinkers and philosophers got a chance to take the leading role in the hierarchy of the society, this is why it was not a surprise that it was them who suggested to create one more group of people who would become better, more educative, more influential, and more important in this life.

Political egalitarianism is where members of a society are of equal standing in terms of political power or influence.

Explanation:

  • A basic concept of political equality is the conviction that man is a "rational being", that given discrepancies between men & women he has the potential for political judgment. In the latter period of legal democracy, fundamental freedoms such as freedom of speech, the ability to join groups, to hold political opinion without any threat and other civil liberties.
  • Notwithstanding the positive consequences, there are still certain obstacles in their immaculate conformation to reaching constitutional equality. One of the significant impediment in political inequality is dynastic politics. Many parties are influenced by a complete absence of defined internal democratic values. Based on the few hegemonic dynasties, these parties survive on the "patronage-based" party structures & "clientelist relationships" and that is linked allegiance to the "powerful political
  • The political families heading such parties also prohibit the creation of new leadership outside the family, thereby preventing the absolute dominance of such dynasties from being undermined and centralizing political influence within the family. It is because of the existence of dynasts that the group itself survives and the loyalty of its members.families".
  • In reality, "abandonment" of a "party ideology", the family is a leading force in which a party sustains itself, thus undermining the party structure. Thus, the eternal domination of dynastic politics damages political equality, as it greatly diminishes the probability of the party non-dynasty member from growing to authority.
  • Another significant impediment is based on primordial identities like religion & caste. there is a general "distrust of leaders" from outside the community across all "classes", & all "caste-class intersections" The so-called "upper castes" have traditionally gained most from having significantly more political and economic power, whereas the lower caste classes have restricted access to such powers. Sometimes, caste is unique to a defined region. The "caste pockets" create a ""caste that is locally dominant. The political system in India will turn local supremacy into regional supremacy. The caste population has consolidated in order to enable smaller and less influential castes to engage in the political arena
  • The third impediment & critical challenge is the relatively small number of woman lawmakers in Parliament. Some of them still belong to the upper caste & wealthy segments of society. This inflating of privileged castes in public offices has ensured that they have a relatively significant effect on public policy which is "disproportionately large" when compared to their "actual numbers".
