Critical temperature of ammonia and carbon dioxide 405.5k and 304.10k respectively which these gases will liquify forst when you start cooling from 500k to their critical temperature

. Ammonia will liquify first beacause its critical temperature will be reached first.

. Liquefication of CO2 will require more cooling.
