Critically analyze and compare the policies of Akbar and Aurangzeb showing how one led to the expansion of the Mughal Empire while the other led to its decline

Though Aurangzed was son of Akbar,Both of them had conflicting policies.

Akbar used to possess liberal polices towards religion and and used to have a sense of equality among every other relgiion.

Where as Aurangzeb used to have constricted ideas about religions and many non-muslims were kept away from his polices.

Akbar followed legitimate procedures to become king, where as Aurangazeb followed unethical procedures, he dint think once before imprsioning his own father.
