To reduce the crime and violence South African Government undertook four mechanisms. Implementation of these mechanism will take time, as violence , crime can not be curbed in just one or two days.
Many programmes for monitoring, recruitment of police forces to be vigilant has been taken by the government. The four pillar mechanism are:
1) The process of criminal justice- The goal of it is to make the judicial system highly efficient , so that the criminals gets correct judgement based on their crimes.
It makes sure of the less criminal activity and the criminal getting clear deterrent.
2) Creation of Environmental design to reduce crime- Increases the process of detecting and identifying criminals easily by designing a system that reduces chances of crime.
3) Education and Public values- Provides education to citizen , so that they too can help in crime and violence prevention.
4) Crimes which are Trans-national- Reduces trafficking over the border.
