Answer:

The question is asked from the story Kafan which means the shroud which is written by the story writer Munshi Premchand. In the story both father and son Gishu and Madhav buys drink from the money of buying the shroud for Madhav's mother Budhiya's dead body.

They beg for the money. When Gishu earns 5 rupees from begging, he controls the activity of Madhav. This shows that having money can make you rule over a person.

Explanation:

In Kafan, Munshi Premchand discusses the theme of dehumanization.

The story reveals how both Ghisu and Madhav behave in an inhuman and selfish manner, by not taking care of Budhia even when she is sick and is dying.

They are both so involved in themselves and expect to live a better life without even working. They have been living off Budhia's income and now that she is dead, they don’t have money to but the shroud for cremation.

Despite this, they are so inhuman and selfish that they spend the little money they get by begging on drinking instead of getting a shroud for Budhiya’s cremation. All this brings out a clear theme of dehumanization in the story.
