The Mongols were cruel tribes of Central Asia. They were the natives of Mongolia. They were a very brave ,fearless and uncivilized people who took pleasures in plundering, burning and killing of the people. They invaded India whenever Delhi was weak or confusion and disorder prevailed in Delhi Kingdom. They launched several invasion into the Indian subcontinent from 1221 to 1327, with many of the later raids made by the unruly Qaraunas of Mongol origin.
