Beauty and the Beast was a romantic musical between a beautiful woman and a beast. The play is taken place in an enchanted castle with a Young Prince who was coldhearted. A witch, disguised as a beggar, goes to a ball that was thrown by the Young Prince. The witch, beggar, or old lady as referenced in the play, offered the young prince a rose for shelter. Disgusted by the beggar’s worn down appearance, the Prince refused the blessing and dismissed the old lady. The old lady cautioned him not to be betrayed by her appearance, for excellence is to be found inside. The Prince attempted to conciliatory thoughts, yet it was past the point of no return. When the Prince refused the old lady’s kind gestor, she changed him into a revolting beast and set an effective spell on him and all who lived there. The rose she had offered was a genuinely captivated rose to give the Prince the chance to figure out how to love another and gain their adoration in return, before the last petal fell from the rose. If the Prince is able to love another, then the spell would be broken. But if not, he would be bound to remain a Beast forever.
Maurice is putting the finishing touches on an innovation that he believes will make him rich. As he goes in route to a resolution where he trusts he will win an initial prize, he loses all sense of direction in the forest. Then Maurice’s innovation separates and the wolves start to pursue him. He then discovers a stronghold and beats on the entryway of the castle. Inside he bumps into what once human animals that were transformed into family things by the old lady. Lumiere, a candelabra, Cogsworth, a mantle clock, and Mrs. Potts, a tea kettle, continue to influence Maurice to feel welcome and agreeable while in the meantime endeavoring to keep his essence avoided the ruler or the Beast. The Beast winds up enraged when he sees Maurice's quality, as Maurice is stealing a rose and tosses him into the prison.
