CROP FIELD : A farmer has a field ABCD. Field ABCD is in the

shape of rhombus and P, Q, R and S are the mid-points of the sides AB, BC, CD and DA

respectively. The farmer wants to crop wheat in area PQRS and mustard crop in rest of the

region.

3.Find the diagonal AC if the side of rhombus field 12m and diagonal BD is 20m?

The parallelogram PQRS point A divided feild in three parts which are triangular shape 

Here parallelogram PQRS and triangle APQ lie on same base PQ and between same parallel line PQ and RS 

 ∴Area(ΔAPQ)=21area(PQRS)

⇒area(ΔAPQ)=area(ΔASP)+area(ΔARQ)

Thus farmer should sow groundnuts in part triangle APQ and saw pluses in other parts of triangle ASP and ARQ the equal
