Ans:- Fertilisers -

• Fertilisers is a man made inorganic salt.
• Fertiliser is prepared in factories .
• Fertiliser doesn't provide any humus to the soil.
• fertiliser are very rich in plan nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

Manure -

• Manure is a natural substance obtained say the decomposition of cattle deering and plant resideseeds.
• Manure can be prepared in the fields.
• Manure provides a lot of humus to the soil.
• Manure is relatively less rich in plant nutrients.

6. What is irrigation? Describe two methods of irritation which conserve water.

Ans:- The supply of water to the crops at regular intervals is called irrigation.

Two methods of irrigation which conserve water are —

• Sprinkler system :- This system is more useful on the uneven land where sufficient water is not available. The perpendicular pipes, having rotating nozzles on the top, are joined to the main pipeline at regular intervals. When water is allowed to flow through the main pipe line under pressure. With the help of a pump, it escaper from the rotating nozzles. It gets sprinkled on the crop as if it is raining
• Drip system :- In this system, the water falls drop by drop just at the position of the roots. So it is called drip system. It is the best technique for watering fruit plants gardens. The system provides water to the plants drop by drop. Water is not wasted at all. It is a boon in regular where availability of water is poor.

7. If wheat is shown in kharif season, what would happen? Discuss.

Ans:- Wheat is a Rabi crop, it is grown in winter season. Rabi crops need less water and low temperature for their growth. On the other hand, during kharif season, the crop fields get accumulated with plenty of water. If wheat with is shown in the kharif season the crop would die due to excess water, optimum temperature ,availability of pests adaptability to the climate etc .Therefore, the wheat should be grown only in the winter season.

8. Explain how soil gets affected by the continuous plantation of crops in a field.

Ans:- continuous growing of crops makes the soil poorer in certain nutrients . Therefore , farmers have to add menure to the the feilds to replenish the soil with nutrients. This process is called manuring
