• In order to classify garden as ecosystem, we must first know what is an ecosystem
• Since, we know that ecosystem is composed of biotic and abiotic factors and their relation with each other
• Now when we observe a garden, it has biotic factors like animals e.g. cats, dogs etc and plants. It has insects, birds and humans too.
• Garden also has abiotic factors like light, water, soil etc.
• Hence , we can say that garden is an ecosystem
