Cross multiplication for 3x-5y-4=0 and x-2y- 7=0​

Answer:

3x-5y-4=0......(1)

9x-2y-7=0......(2)

from equation (1),we get

A1=3,B1=-5,C1=-4

from equation (2),we get

A2=9,B2=-2,C2=-7

By cross multiplication,we have

X/B1C2-B2C1=Y/C1A2-C2A1=1/A1B2-A2B1

X/-5×-7-(-2)×(-4)=Y/-4×9-(-7)×3=1/3×(-2)-9×(-5)

X/27=Y/-15=1/39

X/27=1/39 Y/-15=1/39

X=9/13

Y = -5/13
